(70 ILCS 5/8a) (from Ch. 15 1/2, par. 68.8a) Sec. 8a. Competency of judges or jurors in actions where authority is party in interest. In any action or proceeding in which an airport authority may be a party in interest, no person shall be deemed incompetent as judge or juror by reason of his or her being an inhabitant or owner or a life tenant in real estate in such airport authority.
