Section 30

(755 ILCS 27/30) Sec. 30. Transfer on death instrument nontestamentary. A transfer on death instrument is a nontestamentary instrument and is subject to all other laws governing or affecting transfers by nontestamentary instruments. A transfer on death instrument may not be admitted to probate as the will of the owner or as a codicil thereto. (Source: P.A. 102-68, eff. 1-1-22.)
