(755 ILCS 5/11a-7) (from Ch. 110 1/2, par. 11a-7) Sec. 11a-7. Venue.) If the alleged ward is a resident of this State, the proceeding shall be instituted in the court of the county in which he resides. If the alleged ward is not a resident of this State, the proceeding shall be instituted in the court of a county in which his real or personal estate is located. (Source: P.A. 80-1415.)
