Online Printing of Insurance Producer Licenses

April 1,2009 Bulletin 169 ONLINE PRINTING OF INSURANCE PRODUCER LICENSES This bulletin is directed to all insurance producers licensed under IC 27-1-15.6. Effective June 1, 2009, producers will be able to print copies of their producer license online. This service will be available to both resident and non-resident insurance producers and business entities. The Department will continue to mail hard copies of new and renewal licenses to resident producers only. The Department will no longer mail hard copies of new, renewal, or duplicate licenses to non-resident producers or business entities. Non-resident producers that desire hard copies of their producer license will be able to print them from the convenience of their offices or homes. Within the first thirty days after the approval and issuance of a new or renewal license, producers may print as many copies as they desire at no cost. After thirty days, there is a charge of $5.50 per license printed. In addition, producers may check the status of their license application or renewal by visiting www.sircon.com/Indiana and clicking on "Check license application status" or "Check license renewal status." To print a copy of a license, producers should then click on the "Print Your License" link.
