329 IAC 3.1-15-7 Use of a mechanism for financial assurance of corrective action, closure, and post-closure care

Sec. 7. An owner or operator may satisfy the requirements for financial assurance for any combination of corrective action, closure, and post-closure care for one (1) or more facilities by using a trust fund, surety bond, letter-of-credit, insurance, financial test, or guarantee that meets the specifications for the mechanism in both sections 4 and 6 of this rule. The amount of funds available through the mechanism must be no less than the sum of funds that would be available if a separate mechanism had been established and maintained for financial assurance of corrective action, closure, and post-closure care.
