405 IAC 5-15-6 Member and provider participation

Sec. 6. (a) Any member under twenty-one (21) years of age may participate in the EPSDT program. Each member will be informed about the program by the office in accordance with federal regulations. Participation in EPSDT by members is voluntary. (b) Individual physicians, physician group practices, hospitals, or physician-directed clinics who are enrolled as providers may provide a complete EPSDT screen. (c) Any enrolled provider may provide EPSDT diagnostic and/or treatment services within the scope of his or her practice upon referral from the screening provider.
