405 IAC 5-2-20 "Prior authorization" defined

Sec. 20. "Prior authorization" means the procedure for the office's prior review and authorization, modification, or denial of payment for covered services within Medicaid allowable charges based upon criteria as described in 405 IAC 5-3 and throughout this title.
