410 IAC 27-5-1 Administration

Sec. 1. The center administrator is responsible for day-to-day operations of the birthing center to include, but not be limited to, the
following functions:
(1) Employing qualified staff:
(A) commensurate with assigned duties and responsibilities; and
(B) in accordance with the employee's licensure, certification, experience, and competence.
(2) Ensuring that sufficient staff is present to provide quality patient care.
(3) Annual implementation of internal and external disaster and emergency preparedness plans with documentation of
outcome.
