410 IAC 5-6.1-73 "Normal treatment distance" defined

Sec. 73. As used in this rule, "normal treatment distance" means the following: (1) For electron irradiation, the virtual source-to-surface distance along the central axis of the useful beam as specified by the manufacturer for the applicator. (2) For x-ray irradiation, the virtual source-to-isocenter distance along the central axis of the useful beam. (3) For nonisocentric x-ray equipment, the normal treatment distance shall be that specified by the manufacturer.
