410 IAC 6-2.1-2 "Air gap" defined

Sec. 2. "Air gap": (1) means the unobstructed vertical distance through atmosphere between the water supply inlet and the flood level rim of the receiving unit; and (2) is at least two (2) times the diameter of the water supply outlet or pipe or six (6) inches, whichever is the smaller distance.
