460 IAC 20-1-11 "Early intervention services" defined

Sec. 11. "Early intervention services" means developmental services that: (1) are designed to meet: (A) the developmental needs of each child eligible for services through the early intervention system; and (B) the needs of the family related to enhancing the child's development; (2) are selected in collaboration with the child's parents; (3) are provided: (A) under public supervision; (B) by qualified personnel as described in section 26 of this rule; and (C) in conformity with an individualized family service plan; (4) meet state and federal laws, regulations, and rules; and (5) are provided in natural environments, to the maximum extent appropriate to the needs of the child, including the home and community settings in which children without disabilities participate.
