465 IAC 2-10-9 "Emergency shelter" defined

Sec. 9. As used in this rule, "emergency shelter" means a short term place of residence, other than a secure facility that:
(1) is not locked to prevent a child's departure unless the administrator determines that locking is necessary to protect the child's health;
and
(2) provides twenty-four (24) hours a day temporary care for not more than sixty (60) consecutive days to an individual child six (6)
years of age or older admitted on an emergency basis.
