470 IAC 3-18-18 Tobacco and substance policy

Sec. 18. (a) A provider, other than a child care center or child care ministry, shall have a written policy prohibiting the use of the following in the facility where the provider operates a child care program when child care is being provided: (1) Tobacco. (2) Alcohol. (3) A potentially toxic substance in a manner other than the substance's intended purpose. (4) An illegal substance or the possession of an illegal substance. (b) A provider that is a child care center or child care ministry shall have a written policy prohibiting the use of the following in the facility where the provider operates a child care program when child care is being provided: (1) Tobacco. (2) Alcohol or the possession of alcohol. (3) A potentially toxic substance in a manner other than the substance's intended purpose. (4) An illegal substance or the possession of an illegal substance.
