470 IAC 3-1.1-33 Staff requirements

Sec. 33. (a) The licensee may be the caregiver for no more than one (1) child care home. If a licensee operates more than one (1) child care
home, the licensee shall maintain or employ a caregiver in each additional child care home.
(b) The assistant caregiver shall work under the direct supervision of the caregiver. If an assistant caregiver under twenty-one (21) years
of age is left in charge of a child care home, the parent must be notified in writing.
(c) Student assistants and volunteers shall work under the direct supervision of a caregiver and shall not be left in charge of a child care
home.
