470 IAC 6-4.1-2 Eligibility and benefit levels

Sec. 2. Eligibility and benefit levels shall be determined according to 7 CFR 273.10 with the following exceptions: (1) To determine the amount of the prorated allotment, the state agency shall use the formula provided at 7 CFR 273.10(a)(iii)(B): (2) In calculating net monthly income, the state agency shall round down each income and allotment calculation that ends in one cent ($0.01) through forty-nine cents ($0.49) and round up each calculation that ends in fifty center [sic., cents] ($0.50) through ninety-nine cents ($0.99). (3) Households which have three (3) or more members which are entitled to no benefits due to proration in the initial month shall be denied on the grounds that the net income exceeds the level at which benefits are issued.
