511 IAC 15-6-5 Career and technical education: family and consumer sciences

Sec. 5. (a) If the department determines an applicant: (1) meets the requirement of 511 IAC 15-2-1 to be eligible to teach career and technical education: family and consumer sciences; (2) has provided proof of at least four thousand (4,000) clock hours of successful employment in family and consumer sciences or one thousand five hundred (1,500) clock hours of supervised work in family and consumer sciences under an approved teacher education program, or an equivalent combination; and (3) meets all other applicable requirements under this title; the license shall list "career and technical education: family and consumer sciences" as a content area. (b) The holder of a license with career and technical education: family and consumer sciences is eligible to teach family and consumer sciences in the school setting listed on the license.
