210 IAC 8-4-17 Heating and cooling systems

Sec. 17. (a) Written policy, procedure, and practice provide that heating, ventilation, and cooling systems ensure healthful living and working conditions for juveniles and staff with temperatures appropriate to the: (1) summer; and (2) winter; comfort zones. (b) Circulation is at least fifteen (15) cubic feet of outside or recirculated filtered air per minute, per occupant, for the following: (1) Sleeping rooms. (2) Common areas. (3) Staff stations. (4) Dining areas. (c) Measurements are documented by a qualified source at least every three (3) years.
