675 IAC 14-4.4-49 Section R404.1.3.3.7.2; location of reinforcement in wall

Sec. 49. Change the text of SECTION R404.1.3.3.7.2 to read as follows: The center of vertical reinforcement in basement walls determined from Tables R404.1.2(2) through R404.1.2(7) shall be located at the centerline of the wall. Regardless of the table used to determine vertical wall reinforcement, the center of the steel shall not vary from the specified location by more than the greater of 10 percent of the wall thickness and 3/8 inch (10 mm). Horizontal and vertical reinforcement shall be located in foundation walls to provide the minimum cover required by Section R404.1.3.3.7.4.
