675 IAC 20-1.1-9 Definitions "H"

Sec. 9. (a) "Head loss" means the total pressure drop in pounds per square inch (kilo Pascals) or feet (meters) or head between the inlet and the outlet of a component. (b) "High rate sand filter" means a sand filter designed for flows in excess of five (5) gallons per minute per square foot. (c) "Hydrojet booster pump system" means a system whereby one (1) or more hydrojets are activated by the use of a pump which is completely independent of the filtration and heating system of a spa. (d) "Hydrojets" means a fitting which blends air and water creating a high velocity, turbulent stream of air enriched water.
