675 IAC 22-2.5-17 Chapter 24; flammable finishes

Sec. 17. Chapter 24 is amended as follows: (a) Delete Section 2401.3 in its entirety without substitution. (b) Amend Section 2404.3.2.5, in Exception 1 and Exception 2, to delete "adequately" without substitution. (c) Amend Section 2405.3.2 as follows: (1) Amend the exception to insert, after "Exception", "1.". (2) Add Exception 2, to read as follows: Exception 2. Bottom drains shall not be required for tanks that are equipped with automatic closing covers in accordance with Section 2405.7. (d) Amend Section 2405.9.1 to delete the text and insert the following: Tanks shall be located an approved distance from furnaces and combustible floors and shall not be located on combustible floors. (e) Amend Section 2407.3.1 to delete "adequately grounded" and insert "grounded in an approved manner".
