71 IAC 10-3-6 Place, time, and nature of hearings

Sec. 6. (a) A hearing in a commission proceeding is open to the public, however, witnesses may be excluded or sequestered. (b) A hearing shall be held in Indianapolis, Indiana unless: (1) for good cause stated in open meeting, the commission designates another place for the hearing; or (2) the Act requires otherwise. (c) Unless precluded by law or objected to by a party, the commission may allow informal disposition of a proceeding without a hearing. Informal disposition includes disposition by stipulation, agreed settlement, consent order and default.
