71 IAC 12-1-2 Purpose

Sec. 2. The purpose of this article is as follows: (1) To ensure that pari-mutuel wagering at satellite facilities in Indiana will be conducted with the highest of standards and the greatest level of integrity. (2) To establish application and license criteria for the issuance of licenses to conduct activities relating to pari-mutuel wagering at satellite facilities in order to ensure the protection of the public interest. (3) To ensure that the process of the issuance of licenses relating to pari-mutuel wagering at satellite facilities is fair and equitable.
