820 IAC 4-2-10 Barber tool case; textbooks and workbooks

Sec. 5. (a) Not later than the completion of the first fifty (50) hours of education, beauty culture schools shall furnish the following to each student enrolled in barber training:
(1) A tool case.
(2) Textbooks in printed or electronic format.
(3) Workbooks in printed or electronic format.
(b) The tool case required by subsection (a) must include at least the following:
(1) Magnetic clippers.
(2) Motor-driven clippers.
(3) Outline clippers.
(4) Shears.
(5) A straight razor.
(6) A cape.
(7) Eight (8) combs.
(8) Three (3) brushes.
(9) A blow dryer.
(c) Public secondary beauty culture schools or beauty culture schools located in penal institutions may, in their discretion or as required by the penal institutions, alter the items given to students in the interest of security.
(d) The items required to be furnished to students under this section become the personal property of the students to be used in their training.
