Sec. 1. (a) Beauty culture instructors in beauty culture schools shall hold a beauty culture instructor license issued by the board. (b) In addition to complying with subsection (a), an individual teaching electrology in a beauty culture school shall hold an electrologist license issued by the board. (c) In addition to complying with subsection (a), an individual teaching esthetics in a beauty culture school must hold an esthetician or cosmetologist license issued by the board. (d) In addition to complying with subsection (a), an individual teaching manicuring in a beauty culture school must hold a cosmetologist or manicurist license issued by the board. (e) In addition to complying with subsection (a), an individual teaching barbering in a beauty culture school shall hold a barber license issued by the board. (f) In addition to complying with subsection (a), an individual teaching cosmetology in a beauty culture school must hold a cosmetologist license issued by the board. (g) Notwithstanding subsections (a) through (e), beauty culture instructor students may instruct other students provided a licensed beauty culture instructor is present.
