839 IAC 1-5-3 Temporary permits for mental health counselors

Sec. 3. (a) As used in IC 25-23.6-8.5-10, "the date the board disapproves the individual's license application" means the date an applicant for licensure receives notice of: (1) failure of the required examination; or (2) denial of the individual's license application. (b) As used in IC 25-23.6-8.5-10, "good cause" means any reason approved by the board following written notice to the board from the applicant within thirty (30) days of the date the applicant was scheduled to take the examination. (c) An applicant for licensure as a mental health counselor who fails the required examination shall not be issued a second temporary permit.
