856 IAC 2-6-6 Dispensing of narcotics for maintenance purposes

Sec. 6. Dispensing of narcotic drugs for maintenance purposes. The administering or dispensing directly (but not prescribing) of narcotic
drugs listed in any schedule to a narcotic drug dependent person for the purpose of treatment of his dependence upon such drugs in the course of
conducting a clinical investigation authorized by State or Federal law in the development of a narcotic addict rehabilitation program shall be deemed
to be within the meaning of the term "in the course of his professional practice or research" in IC 1971, 35-24.1-1-1(u) [Repealed by
Acts 1976, P.L.148, SECTION 24; Acts 1977, P.L.26, SECTION 25. See IC 35-48.] as amended.
