860 IAC 1-4-2 "Recognizably displayed" defined

Sec. 2. (a) The requirement in IC 25-28.5-1-35(b) that a plumbing contractor's license number must be "recognizably displayed" in all forms of written or printed advertising for plumbing services means that the plumbing contractor's license number must be: (1) of adequate size; and (2) located within reasonable proximity of the advertising; so that the number can be readily seen by an individual with normal vision when viewing the advertisement. (b) The requirement in IC 25-28.5-1-35(b) that a plumbing contractor's number must be "recognizably displayed" on all vehicles that are used to provide plumbing services means that the plumbing contractor's license number must be: (1) of adequate size; and (2) located within reasonable proximity of the plumbing contractor's name or name of the business with which the plumbing contractor is associated; so that the number can be readily seen by an individual with normal vision when viewing the name.
