312 IAC 13-1-20.4 "Pump installation" defined

Sec. 20.4. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), "pump installation" means placement and preparation for operation of equipment and
materials used in withdrawing or obtaining water from a well. The term includes construction to enter the well and to establish seals and safeguards
to protect water from contamination.
(b) The term does not apply to activities in association with a monitoring well or a dewatering well.
