312 IAC 26-4-8 Professional standards for historic preservation projects involving preservation

[NOTE: IC 14-12-3 is repealed by P.L. 123-2026, SECTION 21, effective July 1, 2026.] Sec. 8. The following standards apply if a project under this rule involves preservation: (1) Preservation shall maintain the existing form, integrity, and materials of a building, structure, or site. Substantial reconstruction or restoration of lost features generally is not included in a preservation undertaking. (2) Preservation shall include techniques of arresting or retarding the deterioration of a property through a program of continuing maintenance.
