312 IAC 4-4-5 Discipline

Sec. 5. The division director (or a person designated by the division director) may, for just cause, discharge, demote, or suspend an
employee after preferring charges in writing and after the employee is afforded a predisciplinary meeting with the division director (or a person
designated by the division director). The division director will normally impose discipline in a progressive manner; however, the division director
shall impose the discipline that is appropriate to the seriousness of the misconduct.
