312 IAC 9-2-3 Applicability to wild animal parts

Sec. 3. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), a person may not: (1) possess; (2) sell; (3) offer for sale; (4) purchase; (5) offer for purchase; (6) ship; (7) transport; (8) deliver; or (9) receive; a wild animal. This section applies to any part of a wild animal. (b) Subsection (a) does not apply to the following: (1) A tanned hide. (2) Any portion of a furbearing mammal, as defined by IC 14-8-2-108. (3) Cured feathers. (4) A squirrel tail. (5) An untanned deer hide. (6) Antlers. (7) Hooves. (8) Any part of a river otter. (9) An untanned squirrel hide. (10) Any part of a bobcat.
