327 IAC 6.1-2-15 "Disinfection" defined

Sec. 15. "Disinfection" means the:
(1) destruction;
(2) neutralization;
(3) inhibition;
(4) inactivation; or
(5) removal;
of pathogenic micro-organisms by chemical, physical, or biological means.
