327 IAC 6.1-4-2 Biosolid and industrial waste product characterization

Sec. 2. (a) Prior to the issuance of a permit for land application under this article, the commissioner shall determine which biosolid or
industrial waste product must be evaluated for characteristics of hazardous waste under 40 CFR 261, Subpart C, as incorporated by reference in
329 IAC 3.1.
(b) A biosolid or industrial waste product that is evaluated for hazardous waste characteristics under 40 CFR 261, Subpart C, as
incorporated by reference in 329 IAC 3.1, and shows a pollutant concentration that exceeds the limits under 329 IAC 3.1
is prohibited from being land applied.
