Development and implementation of program; rules

Sec. 2. (a) The bureau shall develop and implement a commercial driver's license program to: (1) issue commercial driver's licenses, commercial learner's permits, and related endorsements and restrictions; and (2) regulate persons required to hold a commercial driver's license. (b) Subject to IC 8-2.1-24-18, the program under subsection (a) must include procedures required to comply with 49 CFR 383 through 49 CFR 399.
