Sec. 7. A person may not employ an individual to operate a motor vehicle in a manner for which a for-hire endorsement is required unless the individual holds one (1) of the following: (1) A valid driver's license issued under IC 9-24-3 with a for-hire endorsement. (2) A valid commercial driver's license. (3) A valid chauffeur's license issued under IC 9-24-4 (before its expiration).
