902 KAR 28:050. Kentucky's Trauma System Appeals Process

Section 1. Appeals Process. (1) An applicant may appeal a decision of the Department for Public Health within thirty (30) days of the date of notification that: (a) The applicant was denied verification or designation as a trauma center; (b) A designated trauma center was denied reverification; or (c) A designated trauma center designation was revoked or suspended. (2) To initiate an appeal, the applicant shall submit a written request for a hearing pursuant to KRS Chapter 13B to the Commissioner of Public Health. (3) Each appeal shall be conducted in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B.
