A. Uncontested motions to stay shall be governed by R.S. 23:1310.5.2. Upon contested motion of a party and for good cause shown after a contradictory hearing, the workers’ compensation judge may order a stay of certain proceedings or the claim. B. When a stay is granted, a telephone status conference shall be set at such intervals as directed by the workers’ compensation judge but at least every six months. C. LAC 40:I.5705 of these rules shall not apply to any matter subject to a stay order as long as such order is in effect.
