LAC 40:I.905. Availability of Safety Services

A. The assistant secretary shall maintain a list from the private sector of safety practitioners who meet the criteria as set forth in the definition of a safety professional/engineer in §903. This list shall be made available to any Louisiana employer upon request. B. In-house safety staff shall be a full-time employee(s) whose primary function within the organization includes work of progressive importance and achievement towards accident prevention. C. Insurance carrier safety staff are full-time employees whose primary functions include safety engineering services.
