A. Advertising media includes newspapers, magazines, radio and television programs, direct mail, trade papers, and the like. The advertising costs allowable are those which are solely for: 1. recruitment of personnel required for the grant program; 2. solicitation of bids for the procurement of goods and services required; 3. disposal of scrap or surplus materials acquired in the performance of the grant agreement; 4. recruitment of participants, employers, other service providers, and general advertising for the SDA; and 5. other purposes specifically provided for in the grant agreement.
