LAC 42:III.4207. Evaluation of New Electronic Gaming Devices

A. The division may require transportation of not more than two working models of a new EGD or associated equipment to a designated gaming laboratory for review and inspection. The manufacturer or supplier seeking approval of the device or associated equipment shall pay the cost of the inspection and investigation. The designated gaming laboratory may dismantle the models and may destroy electronic components in order to fully evaluate the device. B. The division may require the manufacturer or supplier seeking approval to provide specialized equipment or the services of an independent technical expert to evaluate the device or equipment, and may employ an outside designated gaming laboratory to conduct the evaluation.
