LAC 42:XV.1173. Definitions

A. The following italicized terms shall have the meaning set forth herein when used in these rules: Arrearage—outstanding child support or delinquent debt by a debtor or otherwise collectible by the claimant agency. Claimant Agency—the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and Office of Debt Recovery. Debtor—a person who has been reported by a claimant agency to the corporation pursuant to these rules as having an arrearage, as evidenced by the records of the claimant agency. Winner—a person entitled to the payment of a sports wagering prize of $600.00 or more.
