LAC 42:XV.727. Assignability

A. The right of any person to a prize after the prize is claimed shall not be assignable, except as follows. 1. The corporation may pay any prize to the estate of a deceased prize winner. 2. The prize to which a winner is entitled may be paid to another person pursuant to an appropriate court order. B. A promotional drawing finalist may not assign or sell the right to participate in the promotional drawing, nor can two or more finalists enter into an advance agreement to split their winnings following the promotional drawing.
