LAC 22:III.3307. Inmate Safety

A. Inmates shall have continuous access to communications from their housing areas to a manned control station containing emergency and alarm capability. B. New inmates shall be instructed how to obtain immediate assistance in case of illness, assault, or other personal emergency. C. Secure housing arrangements shall be provided for inmates requiring protective custody under conditions equivalent to those of the general inmate population.
