LAC 43:XIX.3509. Exceptions and Hearings

A. These rules and regulations shall govern the production of oil and gas or both in the state of Louisiana, except: 1. where the production of oil and gas or both is regulated by special field orders; or 2. in the recognized stripper areas; or 3. venting or flaring during drilling, completion, hydraulic fracturing operations, workover, intervention, and maintenance operations. B. Other exceptions to the provisions of this Statewide Order which are found to be proper and in the interest of conservation, the prevention of waste, and the protection of the rights of all persons owning interests in the pool shall be granted only after public hearing based on legal notice.
