Produced Water―water that is obtained by processing fluids brought to the surface in conjunction with the recovery of oil and gas from underground geologic formations. Produced Water Injection Project―project approved in accordance with R.S. 47:633.5 and the rules adopted herein for the purpose of increasing the recovery of hydrocarbons therefrom.
