LAC 43:XI.4525. Welds and Welding Inspections: Standards of Acceptability (Formerly §1525)

A. Each weld and welding must be inspected to insure compliance with the requirements of this Chapter. Visual inspection must be supplemented by nondestructive testing. B. The acceptability of a weld is determined according to the standards in Section 9 or Appendix A of API Std 1104. Appendix A of API Std 1104 may not be used to accept cracks.
