A. The following terms as used in these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires or unless redefined by a particular part hereof, shall have the following meanings. Commissionthe Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement. Court—the court ordering payment pursuant to R.S. 15:592.8. Factual Innocence—the petitioner did not commit the crime for which he was convicted and incarcerated nor did he commit any crime based upon the same set of facts used in his original conviction. Fund—the Innocence Compensation Fund. Petitionerone who has been convicted of and imprisoned for crimes of which they are factually innocent as determined by a court.
