LAC 46:III.1501. Violations and Penalties

A. Any person who engages in auctions without a valid license violates this statute and rules. B. Any person who willfully violates any provision of this statute and rules or any rules and regulations adopted under its authority shall be fined for each offense not more than $500 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. Each individual sale or act in connection with the conduct of an auction in violation of any provision of this statute and rules shall constitute a separate offense and violation of this statute and rules. C. Any person who fails to comply with any order issued by the board or its designee.
