LAC 46:LIV.107. Officers

A. The officers of the board shall be a chairman and secretary–treasurer. B. The chairman shall preside at all board meetings and shall, when available, represent the board at official functions. C. The secretary–treasurer shall act in place of the chairman when the chairman is not present or available. D. The secretary–treasurer shall oversee board finances and present financial reports to the board as requested and shall review and advise on board investments as directed by the board. E. Term. Officers of the board shall be elected in accordance with the schedule set forth in R.S. 37:2404(A) and shall serve a one-year term or until the election of their successors. An officer elected to a position vacated before the end of its term shall serve only for the remainder of that term.
