LAC 22:XI.1601. Definitions

Alien—shall have the same meaning as defined in Title 8, Section 1101 of the United States Code. Committee—refers to the Deportation Eligibility Hearing Committee, which shall be comprised of a three-member panel of the members of the Committee on Parole who shall hear and decide deportation eligibility cases. Removal—the deportation of an alien from the United States to another country.
